Items Needed:
Crayons: Pearl Brights, Glitter or Regular Crayons
Pastel Oil Crayons
Pearl Ex, Fairy Dust or Powdered Pearls
Matt Cardstock

Technique 1:
Use two or three different, coordinating colored crayons. Take matt white cardstock. Take crayons and sharpen. Place the shavings and place on a piece of cardstock. Add another piece of white matt cardstock on top (the shavings will be sandwiched between two pieces of cardstock.) Iron.

Technique 2:
Take the wrappers off the crayons. Rub two - three colors (rub using the entire crayon, not just the tip.) Then do version one. Variation: Once your cardstock is warm from your iron, rub crayons over it. It will melt quickly and give you almost a water colored look. (see green and yellow samples below)

Technique 3: Oil Pastel or Crayon Background:
Take two or three coordinating colored crayons or oil pastel crayons and rub onto your MATT cardstock. For oil pastels, blend by taking a compact sponge or makeup sponge and rubbing it over your colors. Next, apply mica pigment (Pearl Ex, Fairy Dust, Powdered Pearls) to your cardstock with your finger.
