Masking Technique
Masking is a great way to have an image appear to be behind another, collage images or make great backgrounds.
Supplies
Cardstock Rubber Stamp Inkpad Scissors Rubber stamp donated by About Art Accents
Basic Directions:
1. Stamp your image onto your masking medium. (I used regular text weight paper.)
2. Cut your image out, cut just a tiny
bit smaller than the image lines to avoid a "cloud" or "halo" effect.
See Picture 1
3. Stamp one image onto cardstock. This will be your main image.
4. Cover your main image with your
masking medium image.
See Picture 2
5. Stamp another another image OVER
your your masking image.
See Picture 3
6. Repeat as many times as you wish.
See Picture 4
7. Layer as desired to finish your
card.
