3-D Hummingbird Card by Viki Banaszak

Stamp Humming Bird (Eureka) on Aqua Stardream paper and cut out. Use a green marker to color the body parts green.
See Picture 1
Stamp the gorget or chin piece on Burgundy Stardream paper. Use a stylus on the dotted lines and crease the lower body, wings and tail.

Attach the lower body to the base of the upper body. This takes some finagling, so you will probably want to do the front half first and then the back half.
See Picture 2
 and Picture 3

Attach the gorget under the chin.
See Picture 4

Using a sharp Exacto knife, cut a slit as marked on the body to slide the wings into. Attach the wing cap onto the wings. Let dry and slide the wings into place.
See Picture 5

Add the tail to the body.
See Picture 6

Break a round toothpick for the beak and glue in place.
See Picture 7

Use a Super Giant Lillium Punch (Punch Bunch) to punch out 3 flowers in yellow. Roll around a pencil to shape the flower and glue the edges together.
See Picture 8
 and Picture 9

Add some floral stamens to the centers of the flowers, by folding one stamen in half and gluing it into the center of your flower. Punch several leaves out of cardstock and use your stylus to crease the center and make some veins.
Punch a daisy out of green cardstock also. Cut off three of the petals to glue to the base of your flowers.
See Picture 10
 and Picture 11

Layer Blue Yellow and turquoise cardstock to form a card before you attach the parts.

Cut a couple of thin pieces of green cardstock and curl it slightly. Attach them to your card with tiny drops of glue. Use the glue sparingly. Add your flowers and leaves. Then place your Hummingbird where you think he looks the best.
