“Sunny”
by Nancy Thaut Glossy white paper was stamped image by Paula Best and a Versa Mark ink pad and dry with heating tool. Using Adirondacks caramel ink, cover the card using a cosmetic sponge. Layer lettuce, pesto and bottle ink, using the same sponge, starting with the lightest color first. Over stamped with Brilliance pearlescent beige for added highlights. Trim the sheet at the top and/or top and bottom 3/4” to 2” depending on the size of the card and how varied you want the strips to be. Cut the strips in varied widths, keeping them in order. On cardstock of your card, put two strips of double-sided tape. Lay the strips in order, but vary the positions for a random look. Make sure they’re next to each other, tightly. Once completed, glue down the top and bottom of the strips. Using another Paula Best stamp, I stamped and cut the square with deckle scissors, colored design with gelly roll pens, and attached to dark green cardstock. This was then mounted with a wired multiple circle.
