 Close up of card
Bargello Rose Card Collage by Linda Strawn,
Design Team Leader
1. Using white glossy paper and a stylus from ColorBox, tap into
butterscotch Adirondack ink pad and tap down on cardstock. Next repeat the
above process using Pesto ink pad and last wild plum. Blend your colors
around on the paper; it is fine to have a few white areas.
See Picture 1

2. Ink up stamp #p2401 available from Paper Inspirations with black ink
and stamp onto colors created in step 1, I try and place my stamp so
faces, etc are in a lighter pink color.
See Picture 2

3. When dry trim into ½” pieces using a paper trimmer being careful to cut
edges very straight. Number back of pieces from 1 to however many pieces
you end up with. This will help you place them down in the right order.
4. Cut an 8-½” x 11” piece of black glossy cardstock in half and fold into
a card.
5. For bargello pieces will be glued up and down staggering the pieces
See Picture 3

, I start with the up piece and the next piece will be glued down,
the next piece will be glued up but at a different height than the first
piece. Continue till all pieces are glued down.
6. With the leftover piece of black glossy cardstock use a resin bag to
coat the cardstock. Ink single rose #1945J stamp with embossing ink and
stamp onto black cardstock and emboss with fine line gold embossing
powder.
7. Using Luna light paints, available from
www.stampoasis.com
paint rose. Trim cardstock to form a panel as in picture. Edge with gold
leaf pen from Krylon. Using foam tape mount rose to the center of bargello
card.
8. Add a jewel, and beaded fringe to the bottom. See finished picture.
