Gas Ration Card by Viki Banaszak

Stamp Gas Station #1241R River City Rubber Works, twice on retro blue cardstock and color one in completely. On the other, only color in the signs the pump and the car and cut those out. Stamp the Gas Station Attendant #1242G River City Rubber Works, on cream-colored cardstock and color with pencils and then cut him out.
See Picture 1
 and Picture 2

Select a cream-colored cardstock that is 11.25 inches long and 6 5/8 inches wide. Fold it in half and crease well. Measure 1 inch in on each end for the stand and score and crease well. Find the center of both bases and make a cut about ¾ way in. That way the front and the back of the card will attach to each other to make it stand up.
See Picture 3

On the front piece, measure ½ inch from the center and ½ inch from the base. Mark this with a pencil. Measure in 5/8 inches on each side and mark with a pencil. Cut this area open with an Exacto knife for the window.

Flip the card over so you are now working on the outside. Stamp the WWII Ration stamp #1699U River City Rubber Works on the front of the card using Vintage Photo Distressed ink. Using a water brush, go over the stamped areas with some extra ink to age them more. Stamp the Ration stamp again on a scrap of cream cardstock, go over the edges of the stamps with white Prismacolor pencil, and add extra ink to the centers of the ration stamp with the water brush. Cut out the stamps and attach to the front of the card.

Attach your colored Gas Station to the back of the card so it can be seen through the window. Add the small signs in place with white glue. Put a piece of double stick tape on the left side of the gas sign and pop dots on the right side. Add this over the gas sign on the background making sure to tape the left side down well. This will give it added dimension. Now use bigger pop dots on the gas pump and island and the car. Then lastly add the gas station attendant on the island with glue or very thin pop dots.
