Dreamscape Diorama card by Stephanie Loomis
1. Cut one sheet of LilyKate patterned paper (Basic Grey) to 6” x 6” and
one sheet of cardstock (Leaving Prints) to 9” x 9”
2. Attach patterned paper to center of large cardstock. Cut a diagonal on
each corner from the corner of the cardstock to the corresponding corner
of the patterned paper.
3. Stamp “Butterfly Girl” (Lasting Impressions with Panache) onto a 7” x
7” sheet of acetate using StazOn Jet Black ink (Tsukineko.)
4. Stamp “Horse” (Onyx Impressions) twice onto Constellation Jade
cardstock (Marcos Papers). Color one of the images with colored pencils
(Prismacolor) and blend with Gamsol Odorless Mineral Spirits. Cut out both
images.
5. Use a small pop dot (1/8”) to attach horse images together to create
depth.
6. Use a slightly larger dot to attach horse to patterned paper.
7. Begin to fold cardstock inward to create a frame. Tuck in ends.
See Picture 1

Crease each fold to create a full frame.
8. Use large pop dots to attach acetate to page. I used a stack four high
on each of the corners and two of the sides.
See Picture 2

9. Run a line of double stick adhesive along remaining borders and fold
over edges of acetate.
10. Run 1/2” dragonfly ribbon (Michaels Craft Store) through a 2” Xyron.
Cut to fit each of the sides of the frame, covering any rough edges.
11. Run a bead of Folk Art Papier Glitter glue (Plaid) around outside of
ribbon. Secure fiber (Wal-Mart) to the outside edges of the card front
over the glitter glue.
12. Attach card front to a 6” x 7” folded card. A portion of the card
front will go beyond the card fold.
