Background Directions
1. Tear a sheet of freezer paper large enough to accommodate the size of
the white card stock. ( I usually do a whole batch of 8 ½ x 11 sheets at
one time.)
2. Moisten Twinkling H2O’s with several sprays from your water bottle.
Pick three colors (NOT the metallics…we’ll use those later). Dab blobs of
chosen colors randomly on GLOSSY side of freezer paper without touching
the colors to each other. Sparingly spray with water.
3. Place sheet of white cardstock on freezer paper. Pat and “moosh” paper
into the Twinkling H2O’s. Pick up the cardstock and check it. If there is
too much white showing for your taste, repeat process. Be sure to leave
some white.
4. Wipe freezer paper off with paper towel and repeat #2 above with the
metallics. (For my background I used both a yellow and a copper). Place
your already colored paper face down on freezer paper and pat and moosh,
again.
5. Set aside to dry or hurry along with your heat gun.
Alternative background. Cut freezer paper large enough to fold over sheet
of cardstock. Apply dabs of color to freezer paper and fold paper over
colored side. Moosh colors around, open freezer paper and place 2 sheets
of cardstock on freezer paper. Fold freezer paper over cardstock and moosh.
This way you can do 2 sheets of paper at the same time.
