"First Christmas Together" Domino Mini Ornament by Mary Lind
Design Team Member

Supplies:
Domino
2-hole bead
Domino photo images rubber stamp sheet by www.heartsintouch.com
StazOn ink
Ultra Fine Sharpie markers
Krylon silver marker
White holographic ultrafine glitter
Future floor finish
18 mm round page pebble
Iridescent white cardstock
Size 8 silver metallic seed beads
Size 12 beading needle and beading thread
6 inches or so of 20 gauge silver wire
6 inches or so of clear fishing line or Nylon thread
Heat gun
Cuticle scissors
Round nose and rosary pliers
Inkjet printer
E6000 glue

Directions:
1. Stamp bride image onto domino. Heat set. Color face and neck with Sharpie markers. Color side edges and bare spots on the front with silver Krylon marker. Seal with Future floor finish, adding ultrafine glitter to headpiece and veil. Allow to dry.

2. Print "First Christmas Together 2005" onto iridescent cardstock. (I used the Nuptial Script font in 8 point, center aligned.) Adhere page pebble to text and trim close to edge using cuticle scissors.

3. Bead a bezel for the page pebble using peyote stitch. Directions: http://members.tripod.com/~beadnik/cabs.html Glue page pebble to bezel using E6000.

4. Using thread and needle, go through the top center bead in the bezel, add 10 seed beads, go through bottom hole in domino bead, add 10 more seed beads, and go back through top center bead in bezel to make a circular loop. Go through this circuit several times and then weave thread back through bezel and finish off.

5. Insert piece of silver wire through top hole in domino bead. Bend each end of wire up and cross ends above domino bead. Twist the two ends of wire together; snip one end of wire, and use the other end to create a wrapped loop. http://jewelrymaking.about.com/library/weekly/aa111001.htm

6. Tie a piece of fishing line through the silver loop to hang the ornament.
