Stripe Spray Adhesive Card by Steph Schirmer
Supplies: Take and spray the black piece of cardstock with spray adhesive. let dry...then take which ever powder you have pearl ex, moonglows, fairy dust and with a brush start brushing color over the cardstock...little goes a long way...once you are satisfied with the color then you are done... In the card I did...I used black cardstock, moonglows...I took a piece of green cardstock and stamped a background stamp all over the card...then I punched four holes and used black eyelets to affix it to the card.....add a charm and fiber. This technique is so easy. This is a simple way of making background for cards, books, anything. The color combinations you can come up with are endless. You can do them all in one color or multiple colors. They work great by themselves or as layering for cards. I love the simplicity of this technique...if i don't feel like doing a lot these make simple cards. This can be done on either dark cardstock or light and the effects are both so different. I make up sheets ahead of time to have on hand when i need a quick card. I learned this technique in a class with Brenda Ambrosino. |
