I found Micro Beads by Sue Lorang (Sue4stampin)
I found Micro Beads and I love the look on my stamped greeting cards. I
get Micro beads from
PennyWiseArts.com to use on many of my stamped projects as they are so rich
looking and yet so easy to use. I also use the O’So sticky tape that they sell
and it holds the little micro beads as tight as can be.
Micro beads can be used several ways, clear beads can be applied over a stamped,
colored image or stickers. Colored beads are used as a border on cards, boxes or
tins and to fill in a detailed design. The beads are applied with O’So sticky
double sided tape or a good strong clear glue. With the friendly PennyWise Arts
group of people, the ideas for using beads seem limitless.
I first met Suzanne (she and her husband Brian are the founders of PennyWiseArts).
She asked me if I wanted to join their Yahoo group and thinking that working
with beads would be as messy as glitter, I thanked her and declined. She later
invited me to join a shoebox party (where everyone brings a project), so I went
and had the best time and learned that Micro Beads are FUN and NOT messy. I have
since joined their Yahoo group, learned many new techniques and had the time of
my life.
