8 1/2" x 5 1/2" card stock pre-scored (Mulberry
from Marcos) When you are working with clip art or even a stamp of your choice, you must decide what pieces are not as far away as the whole picture is. Try to visualize the flowers as though they were real. You need the bottom layer left alone, then layer another of the flowers only by cutting as close to the flowers and leaves as possible. Notice how the middle layer consists of the leaves. The second cutting of the flowers will take care of the leaves. I can see that the middle 2 peach colored flowers are the next layer. Then you will add the bee as the final layer of the cut outs. Each layer is attached with the glue dots as far from the edge as you can get them. Do not use deep sized dots. An 1/8 of an inch would be perfect. If you need to place one close to the edge for stability, cut it so that it is as invisible as possible. Use the corner punch on the orchid card stock and the bottom layer of the clip art background. Add glitter to the bee's wings. Attach dragonfly with a glue dot. |
