'The Deep Blue Sea' by Altered Game Board by BJ Kennedy
Design Team Member

Supplies:
Monopoly Jr. Game Board
Rubber Stamps by Art By Moonlight
1 piece shiny blue gift-wrap
1 med. nautical gift bag to cut up
1 turtle postage stamp
shrinky dink scraps
Diamond Glaze
Glue
Double-sided sticky tape
Fine Point Sharpies
Colored pencils
Chalks
Embellishments: little pearls, sea charms, glitter, 2
mini compasses, alphabet beads, little tags, day of
week part out of watches (2),

Directions:
Cut gift-wrap a bit larger than the center area, attach with double-sided sticky tape or glue to board making "ripples/waves" as you do it.
Spell out "The Deep Blue Sea" with alphabet beads, stamp the small boats on the beach part of the rubber sheet, cut it out with a 1/4" "edge" along the bottom to fold under for gluing.
Color with chalks or pencils, and attach.
Cut 2 nautical maps out of a gift bag, attach in 2 corners, stamp with nautilus and words, cut 2 other corners and add compasses.
Stamp nautilus & conch shells onto shrinky dink, cut, color with sharpies on back, shrink and apply.
Continue around the board until each block is altered.
When I ran out of what I could think of, I drew and colored with sharpies.
Use larger nautical charms for game pieces. Enjoy.
