Vintage by Maria Adams Rubber Stamping Techniques Grid Technique

Stamps used:
Hero Arts - Old French Writing
Personal Impressions - Lady with Rose Hat
Unnamed - Crackle stamp
All Night Media - Fleur-de-lis
Rubber Stampede – Eyes

Inks used:
ColorBox Fluid Chalk - Wisteria
Brilliance - Pearlescent Purple
Brilliance – Graphite Black

Directions:
Stamp lady, slightly off-center, on glossy cardstock with Graphite Black. Mask off image with low tack masking tape. Sponge the edges with a Wisteria ink.

Following the instructions for the Grid method, mask and sponge sections with the Wisteria, shading them to different intensities as you wish.

Stamp shaded sections with other stamps. With glossy cardstock, you may need to dry off your work with a heat gun in between masking and stamping the sections.

Trim card to 4" x 5-1/2" and finish by running the Wisteria ink pad along the edges of the card.

Add a band of dark lilac ribbon to the lower part of the stamped card.

Mount on lilac pearlescent cardstock.

Stamp Autumn Leaves Flourish stamp on the right hand edge and bottom of a 5-3/4" x 7-1/4" cream pearlescent card, using the Pearlescent Purple ink.

Edge the card with the Pearlescent Purple ink.

Mount matted image on the card.
