Green diamond jewels
Xyron adhesive cartridge
tiny hole punch
needle nose pliers
wire cutters
Silver metallic paint pen
Judikins Diamond Glaze

Directions:
To determine how many hearts you need to make the bracelet start by measuring your wrist with a strip of paper. Cut the hearts out of jumbo playing cards leaving a narrow white border around each heart. Lay the strip of paper on your work surface and lay the hearts out below it. Space them evenly apart leaving a gap between each big enough to accommodate 3 connected jump rings. Cut out extra hearts for the earrings and for spares.

Run a piece of white paper through a Xyron to add adhesive to the back. Adhere the hearts to the sticky side of the paper and trim around each. Ink just the Hare portion of the rubber stamp with black dye ink and stamp the back of each heart. Use a few of the extra hearts to get the placement of the hare just right. Colour with Prismacolor pencils. Edge each heart with a silver metallic paint pen.

Punch tiny holes at the top of each heart and at the points. Apply a coat of Diamond Glaze to both sides. Let the one side dry for about an hour before doing the other side. Re-punch any holes that has dried glaze in them, but you probably won't need to if you work around the holes. Adhere a self-adhesive green diamond jewel to the red side of each heart. If you don't have self-adhesive jewels then attach the jewel to the heart while the Diamond Glaze is still wet.

While waiting for everything to dry assemble the green heart dangles. I chose the green hearts to represent March. Green is March's colour because of St. Patrick's Day :-) Each dangle goes between each heart, that will tell you how many to make. Don't forget you need 2 for the earrings too.

Cut a length of silver wire and thread one glass green heart bead onto it. At the shortest end of the wire form a loop with the needle nose pliers and wrap the short end around the stem 2 - 3 times just below the loop. The longest part of the wire has the heart threaded on it. Make another loop in the same way at the top of the heart with the longest part of the wire and cut off the excess with the wire cutters. Continue doing the same thing on the remaining beads.

Now assemble the bracelet. Start by attaching 2 jump rings to each heart. Then connect each heart to the other with a 3rd jump ring. Open the 3rd jump ring, add a red bead and a green heart dangle. Then loop the jump rings of 2 hearts to the 3rd jump ring and close it. Make sure you attach each heart in such a way that you're alternating which way the heart faces: i.e. one heart shows the hare and the next a red heart and so on. Finish off the bracelet with a clasp.

Next assemble the earrings. Start by attaching a jump ring to the point of each heart and add a red bead before closing it. Open a 2nd jump ring and add a green dangle bead, loop it through the first jump ring and close. To the top of each heart add a jump ring. Open a 2nd jump ring and add a red bead, loop it through the first jump ring and close. Open a 3rd jump ring and loop it through the 2nd jump ring and the eye of an earring finding and close.

You've now got a whimsical matching bracelet and earrings! Enjoy :-)

TIP: The bracelet and earrings aren't meant for frequent use and the bracelet should be removed while washing your hands etc. However, you can make the hearts more durable by dunking them into molten clear embossing powder or by adding more coats of Diamond Glaze. Once cool or dry re-punch the holes.
