Quick Rocking Horse Card by Becky Chabot

Stamp the small rocking horse image (Pansy Lane Stamps BC1485K) onto beige cardstock with StazOn Brown ink.  Color some areas with Souffle pens and Uniball Signo white gel pen, let dry. Distress the image with sand paper.

Stamp with Crackle background (ToyBox Stamps) with Ranger’s Old Paper distressing ink over the entire image.  Tear around the image and ink the edges with Old Paper ink too.

Mat the image on a piece of blue cardstock that is torn to show the white core.

Cut a card front 4” x 5-1/4” from K & Company’s 12x12 Life’s Journey Ceiling Tile paper. Use Glue Dots to adhere Offray brown satin ribbon horizontally about 1” from the bottom, tuck ends around the back.  Cut a 3” piece of matching ribbon and tie a knot about 1” from the left edge.

Adhere the matted image cantered over the ribbon as shown.

Stamp the “Remember When…” sentiment (Pansy Lane Stamps) directly to the card front with StazOn Brown ink.

Cut a 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” rectangle of blue cardstock and fold over to 4-1/4” x 5-1/2”, adhere the card front to the card.

Bearble (Spotlight Technique) by Annette Lanker

Stamp the bear image (Dream Impressions) onto an A2 sized white card.  Repeat onto a piece of scrap white cardstock.  Stipple toffee and cinnamon inks onto image and stamp the paw border on each side of the A2 card.  Using the image stamped onto the scrap cardstock, punch a 2" circle around the bears head.  Edge the circle in toffee ink to help it blend into the card image and then mount the circle over the stippled area.  This is a fun way to spotlight a focal area of your card.

4. Stamp "U" in brown onto gray cardstock cut out leaving a smaller border showing.  Mount over Lions back end.  Stamps: Stampin' Up!

Quick 3-Ring Circus by Becky Chabot

Stamp the small elephant image (Pansy Lane Stamps CA1870K) onto beige cardstock with StazOn Jet Black ink.  Shade with black decorating chalk using a small applicator. Cut out the image with detail scissors.

Select a few random design elements in the elephant’s garb to accent with #9 Cerulean Blue Impress marker then apply a very thin coat of lavender Stickles (Ranger) over the rest of the garb. Stickles must be thin to dry quickly. Color the tusk with Uniball Signo white gel pen. Set the elephant aside to dry.

Layers: fold an 8-1/2” x 5-1/2” piece of beige cardstock in half;  4” x 5 1/4” rectangle of lavender shimmer paper (August Art).

Punch 3 large circles of teal metallic paper (August Art) using the EK Success Whale of a Punch Circle shape.  Punch 3 large circles from the lavender metallic paper (August Art) using a Creative Memories large circle punch.

Adhere the small circle on top of the larger circle, then adhere them the lavender card front in a row as shown with the center circle on top of the side circles.

Affix the May Arts white polka dot and teal twill to the card front with redline super sticky tape by Therm-O-Web. Trim the ends of the ribbon. Embellish a small white fabric flower with a blue metallic mini brad (Magic Scraps), then affix over the ribbon near the bottom right of the card front with a Glue Dot.

Glue the decorated elephant image to the center of the card front.
