'Home Sweet American Home' Fridge Magnet by Jill-Marie aka Bean
Design Team Member

Supplies:
Thin paint brush
Versacolor Ink: Baby Blue
Delta Acrylic Paints:
Liberty Blue,
Real Red,
Black,
Umber Brown,
Christmas Green,
Leprechaun Green
Liquid Appliqué
Crystal Effects
Silver Krylon Pen
Magnets
Glue
Old toothbrush

DIRECTIONS:
Lightly sand domino to give it some tooth.
Pounce baby blue ink onto prepared domino using direct to domino technique and heat set.
Using a fine pencil, sketch a salt block house, flag, and outline a sheep.
Paint the house black, the nose, legs & tail of the sheep, as well as the flag pole.
Let the paint dry or heat set carefully.
Paint in blue part of flag and let it dry.
Add chimney and stripes to flag with red paint and let dry.
Add windows, stars & stripes to flag, as well as a circle for sheep's body with white paint and let dry.
Pounce dark green, and then light green over the top (letting some dark show
through) for grass and bushes (a q-tip works good for this, or the tip of a fine paint brush). Let dry Using brown paint, outline house & roof, add a door and lines for fence.
Put a few dollops of Liquid Appliqué in the sky for clouds, as well as for the sheep's wool & heat with heat gun until puffy.
Using an old toothbrush, dip it lightly in the brown paint and flick it with your fingertip to splatter the domino with brown paint. This gives it a nice antique finish.
When all is dry, seal with a thin coat of Crystal Effects.
Adhere magnet to back with glue & enjoy!
