Directions:
1. Apply Perfect Paper Adhesive to journal and then adhere a piece of black cardstock to fit the size of the journal.

2. Cut a piece of red cardstock a quarter of an inch smaller than the black cardstock, and stamp with the Harlequin background stamp in Noir Black ink.

3. Cut a piece of red Bazzill texture cardstock sized 6” x 5”, and a piece of pattern paper size 6” x 5”.  Tear the red Bazzill cardstock and stamped with Old French Writing stamp in Noir Black. Then apply black ink to the edge of the cardstock. Attach to journal.

4. Cut piece of red and pattern paper cardstock size 1 ˝” x 2” and attach the pattern paper to red cardstock. Apply black ink around the edges of the cardstock and adhere to journal.

5. Cut a piece of black cardstock size ˝” x 5” and adhere to cardstock.

6. Cut out a buckle from thin cardboard using the Sizzix.

7. Apply Versamark pad directly to the buckle, and apply embossing powder, and tap off, and heat with embossing heat tool to melt powder.

8. Attach buckle to ribbon, and then attach ribbon to journal.

9. To prepare bottle caps: using scrap pieces of red cardstock and cut out small circles with the Sizzix Circles die.

10. Stamp each letter in Black Noir Hybrid Palette Ink Pad and set aside.

Melting Pot

1. Pour 6 oz. of Clear Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel into the melting pot.

2. Heat melting pot to temperature as per instructions of the melting pot.

3. Pour melted UTEE into the bottlecaps and allow it to cool.

4. Sand shrink plastic and stamp with Epona image and color with pastel soft chalks. Dip stamped shrink plastic into the melting pot, and allow to shrink completely and remove from melting pot with tweezers and set aside and allow it to cool.

5. Attach bottlecaps and shrink plastic embellishment to journal with glue gun.
