Tulip Tag by Heather Taylor

Cut out a bit of floral fabric (Far Flung Craft) so that three sides are straight, and the top follows the flower contours.  Attach the piece with 1/4" double-stick tape along the three straight sides to a similar width (4" x 5.25")coordinating piece of cardstock. Attach the whole piece to the front of a standard A2 card.  Take the padded flower (Far Flung Craft) and attach a bead as the center with a fun piece of contrasting fiber (Fibers By The Yard).  Put a knot at one end, draw the fiber through the bead and the center of the flower.  Cut a little slit into the fabric, and draw the fiber through there as well.  Make sure the flower & the bead are firmly attached to the base by adding a little E6000 glue between the flower & the fabric.

On a separate piece of contrasting cardstock, stamp the tulip bouquet (PSX) in black Versacraft ink, then emboss with Moonglow Yellow Orange Sunset.  Cut around the stamped image so that it measures 3" along the bottom.  Somewhere along the middle, begin to cut, with small scissors, along the outline of the flowers.  Punch a small hole between two of the flowers, and run your fiber through there.  Add three more beads and finish off with a knot.  The tag will move freely out of the pocket, but remain attached to the flower.

Stamp "congratulations" (savvystamps.com) randomly up top, then write, on the back of the tag, "...on retaining your sanity yet another year."  Stamp the inside of the card with your favorite "happy birthday" stamp.
