Tag Card by Linda Strawn

It is very easy to make a card with a pocket to send photos, gift cards, or just a personal note.

1. Start by cutting a piece of cardstock 8” x 3” for the sample plum cardstock was used.

2. Score this piece widthwise at 2-1/4” and fold up. See picture.

3. Stamp various images onto this fold using black ink. All stamps used were from Tin Can Mail from their travel stamps.

4. Using a drill punch or needle tool, make 5 evenly spaced holes thru the folded pocket and cardstock and set a gold brad into each hole, to form a pocket.

5. Towards the bottom on the right side set a single brad about 3/4" from the bottom.

6. Fold the right corner down to the brad and using black ink stamp the words ART from Catslife Press.

7. Add a square jeweled rhinestone on the left top side.

8. To make tag: Cut a piece of blue star dream paper 4" x 2-1/2" and clip the top corners to form a tag.

9. Layer this tag with a strip of handmade blue crinkle paper placed on the right side of tag. Add a strip of dictionary paper along the left side, tear edges and glue down.

10. Ink up Romantic couple available from Stampsmith with Denim ink from Adirondack line, and stamp onto a glossy white cardstock.

11. Cut out around image and mount onto tag. Using a small heart punch, punch a heart out of blue crinkle paper and place over the couple’s hands.

12. Using denim ink stamp the word romance from Stampa Rosa onto a scrap of glossy white cardstock and cut out. Attach to top left of tag.

13. Using a hole punch, punch a hole in the top of your tag and add fibers to finish.

14. Place tag in pocket and send to a friend. This makes a perfect valentines card done in reds or pinks
