Asian Squares by Daylene Strickland

Trim five 3" x 3" squares of red cardstock.   Stamp and emboss in black the Asian woman in bookstore (by Rubber Cottage) in the center of one of these.   Bleach out the inside of the embossed section.   After dry, repaint this section using Twinkling H20 color Mustard Green leaving the hand and face bleached.  

Mask the embossed area and stamp the outside area using Far East News (Posh Impressions) with the H20 painting direct to rubber.   Stamp the Far East News on the 4 remaining squares also.   Outline all 5 squares using a black marker (Black Galaxy marker was used for this project).  

Put all 5 pieces face down on work surface and slightly move them in one direction until they are approximately evenly spaced.   Flip over and tape each layer together.  

Layer a piece of gold mesh down the center of a piece of red cardstock.   Add two thin strips of black cardstock down the edges.   Stamp chop in gold (chop by Stone House Stamps through Unmounted Central).   Layer on black card.   Secure 5 point squared piece to card using dimensional dots.
