"Using Mesh" from the Quick & Creative Cards Team

Dream Girl by Daylene Strickland

Using white mesh purchased from hardware store, trim section and apply VersaMark to front side.   Sprinkle Clay and Eggplant embossing powders (Ranger) randomly and heat.   Cut mesh strip in half length-wise.

Ink post frame (Stamper’s Anonymous) with Caramel, Ginger, Current, and Denim Adirondack inkpads (Ranger) and stamp on natural cardstock.   Stamp young girl (Limited Edition) in center of frame.   Trim and edge with black marker.   Attach pieces of mesh to back of frame on each side with tape.   Secure the frame and mesh to caramel cardstock panel allowing mesh to fold over and tape on backside.   Layer on eggplant card and add “dream” charm.

Gerbera Daisy by Cheryl Rotnem

1.   Cut an A2 size cardstock in favorite color, my is a gold.
2.   On a piece of white cardstock (3" X 3") stamp the Gerbera Daisy (Rubber Stampede) in a reddish color for the petals and a gold for the center.   I used Petal Point pigment inks.
3.   Now cut beige mesh for the corners and secure.
4.   Mount onto some red/orange construction paper, center and cut off the reddish corners right to the white.   Save these!
5.   Now back to the main gold cardstock, stamp the Gerbera Daisy 3 times in VersaMark ink, now use some pastels/chalks to color the petals lightly in a reddish tone.
6.   Mount your other finished piece onto main card.
7.   Remember those pieces we cut? Now cut a piece out of the middle to resemble photo corners.   I use a diamond hand held punch to do this.   Mount on gold card in the corners.

Sleeping Love by Wendy Kerr

Cut deep purple, cream and mesh fabric as shown.   Tear cream cardstock in half, then tear off a little extra from the middle.   Stamp images (both from Stampabilities) using brown ink.   Tap a brown inkpad randomly over your mesh (this mesh was purchased at a building supply store - dry wall mesh.  ) Layer as shown.

The Look of Mesh by Bernardine Farmer

1.   Fold red cardstock to make an A2 card.   Cut a 3-1/2" x 4-1/2" piece of white cardstock.   With Versafine vintage sepia, stamp the Stampabilities That Look in the center and color with watercolor pencils.

2.   Use EK Success corner heart punch on top right and bottom left corners of white cardstock.   Attach a triangle of red mesh to the bottom right corner and mount the whole thing to the red card.

3.   Gather a 4" strip of red mesh at the top and tie with gold ribbon.   Mount on the white cardstock in the top left corner with a Zot dot.

Have a Great Birthday by Robin Smalley

Take drywall mesh and place diagonally on purple printed paper.   Trim to fit.

Weave two strips of purple 1/8" ribbon into your mesh and and tuck ends of your ribbon behind the paper.   Create and attach three bows to the mesh.

Attach purple paper layer to a solid purple A2 card and stamp sentiment (Hero Arts) to top layer.
