How-to:
Cut 2 pieces of thin cardboard for covers. (This book is 4x4, with pages 3
3/4")
Use decorative paper to cover fronts of mat board, mitering corners
inside.
On front cover, stamp "Imagine" in gold and emboss.
On lower right of front cover, create a gold UTEE ‘puddle’ and stamp with
dry stamp. Let cool and remove.
(Optional: apply color on nails and eyes with rub-ons.)
Set covers aside.
Cut natural cardstock lengthwise in two 3 3/4" strips. Accordion fold two
3 3/4" sections and one 3 1/2" section. With the short sections on each
end, overlap one center piece to create one 6-section length. Adhere the
overlap with strong glue.
Begin stamping sections, alternating sentiments with images, if desired.
Sentiments can be stamped on separate cardstock for application with
layers of decorative paper. Cut O'SS in shapes to cover sentiments and
adhere. Cover with ultrafine clear microbeads. Strips of gold microbeads
can be adhered with 3/8" O'SS.
Fold pages together and lay back of front section on inside of front
cover, leaving 1/8" from back edge. Adhere. Repeat with back of back
section and inside of back cover. Trim inside edges with decorative black
and gold ribbon.
Cut separate 3-3/4" sections of coordinating patterned paper to cover
backs of exposed accordion pages. Adhere with strong glue. To cover
overlapping sections of accordion pages inside, cut decorative paper to
fit over mountain folds.
