Altered Clipboard by Mary Lind,
Beyond Cards Team Leader

Clipboard
1. Use Elmer’s Glue All to attach an 8-1/2 x 11 inch sheet of mulberry paper to the front of a chipboard clipboard.
2. Dry brush several colors of Golden’s fluid acrylics onto mulberry paper. Also paint exposed edges of clipboard. Let dry.
3. Paint Golden’s Micaceous Iron Oxide fluid acrylic paint onto a texture stamp and stamp over paint. I used a hand carved leaf stamp. (See Picture 1)

4. Dab metallic ink all over piece as desired.
5. Paint entire top of clipboard using gloss medium.
6. Glue on double-sided satin ribbon trim using Fabri-Tac.

Ornament
1. Resize to 2 x 2 inch square and print a digital photo onto ink jet compatible waterslide decal paper (www.coveredinclay.com) using the best quality & mirror image printer settings.
2. Trim image. Place face down onto a sheet of Premo white pearl clay (rolled out on thickest setting of pasta machine.) (See Picture 2)

Burnish photo, then dab with water until white paper separates and image is left on clay (See Picture 3)

Trim clay image with detail scissors to fit inside a 2 x 2” frame (Ranger INKssentials Memory Frames). Rub on about 1/4" tsp of liquid polymer clay on top of image. Bake according to manufacturer’s directions. Let cool.
3. (Optional: I didn’t like the edges of my image so I added a row of sequins on the right and left sides before baking.)
4. Add a thin layer of Lisa Pavelka’s Poly-Glaze to top of ornament. Let dry. Add additional layers for a glossy cabochon effect.
5. Use ribbon to attach ornament to top of clipboard. (See Picture 4)
