Wearable Pin Ideas

Butterfly Pin by Joan Hajek

Rubber Stamps from: Stampin' Up

Directions:
Stamp butterfly/flower collage stamp with black ink and stamp directly onto white shrink plastic.
Let dry.
Color in with colored pencils.
Cut out as desired and shrink with heat gun.
Do the same thing with the butterfly stamp from Wonderful Wings, but while plastic is still warm, mold wings up as if it is flying.
Add gold wire for antennas.
Go around both pieces with the gold paint pen. Let dry.
Glue to collage of other stamp.
I sand the back of my piece slightly and then add the pin back.

Convention Trading Pins by Steph Schirmer

Rubber Stamps: Outlines Rubber Stamps (small one with a star in the center)

Directions:
Take the three colors of cardstock…and stamp the star image on all three sheets…if you are making these for a convention stamp the whole sheet to save time…

Cut out a square on all three colors.

Now cutting and assembling them…anyone who has worked with Outlines or other lines of stamps where you cut sections out to expose images will understand how to make these…. for those that haven't I will try and explain but once you see the image you will see the stars and know where to cut them out.

On my pin I started with the white stamped square at the bottom so those squares can be left alone…

Next…I used both red and blue stamped squares for the next layer just reversing them when I made the pins so you get a different color on top…your choice…but I took the blue stamped square, my exacto knife and mat and cut out the smallest star in the center of the stamp image and then set that aside…

I then took the red stamped square, exacto knife and mat and cut out the biggest star on top.

When you are done and set all three stamped squares on top of each other you will see all the stars you cut out.

I took mounting tape and put it between each layer so you get some dimension with the pin and before you put the top layer on offset the star that way when you look at the pin you will see 8 points sticking out…

Take a drop of diamond glaze and put it in the center and drop the blue crystal on it and let dry…and attach a pin back

These can be done in any color combination…
