Snow Angel Doll by Susan Chong

Canvas: Paint 4x6 inch Acrylic Prepared Canvas with Light Blue Acrylic paint.  Allow to dry.  Stamp snowflakes (Rubberstamp Ave.) onto painted canvas with Metallic White Acrylic paint.  Allow to dry.  Stamp snowflakes onto canvas with Ultramarine StazOn ink.  Allow to dry.  Cover canvas with found lace or tulle fabric and glue edges to the back of the canvas.  Allow to dry completely.

Game Pieces: Pounce Blue Mica Ink over 2 white Triominos and 1 Chekit game piece.  Heat set ink with Heat Tool/Embossing Gun.  When cooled, “dot” the edges of each game piece with a Blue Paint Pen.  Allow to dry. Stamp 1 small Christmas Tree image (Wilde-Ideas) onto each of the triominos with Ultramarine StazOn Ink.  When the ink is dry, edge all of the game pieces with a Krylon Silver Leafing Pen.  Allow to dry.  Cut out vintage woman’s face (Copyright free Collage CD) and glue onto Chekit piece with Golden’s Matte Gel Medium. (or your favorite paper glue)

 Assembly of Final Piece: Assemble game pieces as show on prepared canvas. Place wings and halo under each piece as shown and then attach to canvas using Golden’s Matte Gel Medium.  (Wings and Halo are found objects from garage sales.)  Once dry, affix beaded strings (these were part of a beaded door curtain) in place as shown with strong, clear drying glue.  Trim beads to hang as desired.  Glue rhinestone gems to the center of a silver snowflake brad. (Prongs removed).  After dry, attach to canvas as shown with strong, clear drying glue.
