Angel Triptych Card by Karen Bourke

Take your triptych shaped card and cover it in patterned paper. Here a black and cream diamond paper has been used to cover the centre front and back and a heavy weight gold embossed vellum for the rest of the card. Use gold border peel-offs around the two front sides of the card and edge with gold Krylon pen.

Stamp your image (Hearts in Touch “Angels” rubber stamp) with black StazOn onto cream card. When completely dry wipe over the image with an embossing ink pad and sprinkle with clear embossing powder and then heat set. Cut the image to size and place a gold shrine over the top and place in the middle of the central panel (See Picture 1)

Die cut or use a punch to cut two ovals, punch a hole in the top and thread ribbon through. Add greetings to each oval tag and place either side, using foam squares, of the shrine (See Picture 2)

Take a piece of Stampbord and colour it using Adirondack inks and cut ‘n dry foam. Ink up your main Angels stamp with black StazOn and, with the stamp flat on your work surface, place the Stampbord over the part of the stamp you want transferred. Heat set or let the image dry naturally. Taking a scraper tool carefully scrape around the angel’s halo to reveal the white of the Stampbord. Then etch the year “2006” on the left hand side. Wipe over the Stampbord with an embossing ink pad and use UTEE to triple glaze the tile. Attach to front left hand side of the triptych card with foam squares (See Picture 3)
