Supplies:
2 Mini Design Rubber Stamps -www.heroarts.com
1 Tin from a 28 piece jumbo domino set
10 thin dominos (I used the ones from the set!)
DecoArt no-prep Metal Paint in the following colors: Deep Fuchsia, Bright
Lime Green, Fresh Lavender, Lagoon Blue
Dimensional Fabric Paint- Shiny Black
Scraps of brightly colored scrapbook paper with lime green & purple
accents
Ink
10 Strong Magnets
Glue
Crystal Effects
Krylon Matte Finish
Directions:
Basecoat the bottom and sides the of tin with 2 coats of Lagoon Blue
paint, letting it dry completely between coats.
Measure squares and mark lightly with pencil.
Fill in every other square with 2 coats of Fresh Lavender, and then add
one more coat of Lagoon Blue to the other squares.
This will help to cover any pencil lines still visible.
Once completely dry, run black lines with dimensional paint and let dry.
Spray 3 light coats of Krylon Matte finish.
Basecoat 5 dominos with Lime Green, and 5 with Fuchsia. When completely
dry, add one more light coat.
Add dots of Lavender to the Lime green dominos, and Lagoon Blue dots to
the Fuchsia.
Using glue stick or crystal effects, add paper to domino top, making sure
to use the same pattern for all the green dominos, a different pattern for
the fuchsia.
Stamp the 5 Lime Green Dominos with one mini stamp at the bottom, and the 5
Fuchsia dominos with the other stamp. I used Versacolor purple.
Add X's to Lime Green dominos with the dimensional paint.
Add O's to the Fuchsia dominos with the dimensional paint.
Let these dry COMPLETELY!!
Once dry, put 2 thick coats (my daughter says this is very cool!) of
crystal effects on each domino.
Add magnets to the back of each domino.
Have Fun!!
