Treasure the Moment Domino Art Pin by Lis Whiting

1. Start with a white domino 2" x 1". Prepare the back of the domino for rubber stamping by sanding off the shiny surface. Wipe all dust off. Rubber stamp two clocks onto the back of the domino [Hero Arts Keeping Time] in Staz-On Black [Tsukineko]. Rubber stamp “Treasure the Moment” in Staz On Azure [Tsukineko]. Heat set. (See Picture 1)

2. Glue one hour hand and one minute hand charm (brass) [Fancifuls.com] on the stamped clock faces with E6000 glue. Glue on one brass clock charm [Fancifuls.com] and one oxidized brass clock [LaSoux]. Place one macro glass bead in the center of each brass clock hand. (See Picture 2)

6. Lay your domino on a flat surface and place the loops at the bottom of the domino. Take your pliers and bend the straight end up at the bottom corner (each side) so that the straight part of the wire goes up each side of the domino.

7. Take the completed wire in your hands and curl the straight ends out in a small curl

8. Place wonder tape or The Tape [Dragginink.com] around the edge of the domino.

9. Take your wire frame and carefully place it around the sides of the domino, STARTING at the BOTTOM and working up each side. (See Picture 11)

10. Pour clear glass marbles [Blockheads] in a bead tray.

11. Take your finished domino and cover all edges of the domino with the glass marbles. (See Picture 11)

(The blue from the wire will be reflected in the glass spheres making them appear blue also.)

12. Attach a pin back to the back of your domino (actually the front) and wear with pride! (See Picture 10)
