1. Cut a 3/4" x 3" rectangle of origami paper and fold into a kimono according to the directions at www.cardinspirations.co.uk. Coat origami kimono with several layers of dimensional paper glaze. Allow to dry. Glue on a small rectangle of matching paper to cover the sleeve of the kimono on the back side. (Now you have only printed paper showing on both sides of kimono.) Trim sleeves crosswise if desired.

2. Cut a 3 1/2" x 7" rectangle of heavy red cardstock. Fold in half to make a 31/2" x 3 1/2" square card. Stamp twice with cherry blossom stamp (Nonsequitur Art Stamps) and emboss with gold embossing powder. Coat entire card with dimensional paper glaze and allow to dry.

3. Use a hole punch to create a tiny hole in the top of each kimono and thread in an earring hook finding through hole.

4. Use a good quality glue to adhere two Tim Holz metal frames to top of card. Punch a hole over the top of each frame and hook each earring over frame and end through hole.

Note: Earrings are actually the same size, but the frames are different sizes. You would need to purchase two packages of these frames to get a matching pair.
