Fun Times Frame Project by Vicki Bridges

Stamp and heat emboss on a sheet of glossy card stock. (See picture 1)
Apply Kaleidacolor Caribbean Sea with a brayer in short choppy strokes about three inches long. Turn sheet a quarter turn and apply shorter choppy brayer strokes. (See picture 2)
Continue in like manner until the sheet if filled with desired amount of color. (See picture 3)
Place a clean sheet of newsprint (not newspaper) over the card stock. Turn on your iron to a low heat setting and iron the newsprint. This will melt the embossing. Check after a while and keep ironing until all embossing is melted off the glossy card stock onto the newsprint. (see picture 4)
Use a rectangle Coluzzle to cut the inside opening of your picture frame. (See picture 5)
Trim the outside frame to desired dimensions. (See picture 6)
Cut the backing of frame from sturdy card stock one half inch larger than glossy card stock frame. Cut frame mat one quarter inch larger than frame and cut an opening like the frame. FIY, it’s best to use the next larger Coluzzle setting so the mat opening is larger than the frame opening and won’t show from the front. (See picture 7)
Use a strong adhesive to attach the mat evenly to the frame top. Then apply adhesive to the sides and bottom of frame and attach to the backing. Be sure not to put any adhesive on the top back of the frame. This is where you will slide your picture in.  (See picture 8)
Print frame stand template (provided) on card stock and cut out. Score on the lines and bend into shape. Use a strong adhesive to attach frame stand to the center of frame back. Test to make sure frame will stand properly. (See picture 9)

To decorate frame, use foam stamps on green card stock and dark blue ink. Cut letters out and run through a Xyron or use adhesive of choice.

One of the advantages of this frame project is that the stand can be folded flat and frame can be easily mailed. It would make a great birthday gift for out of town family and friends.
