Window Card by Char Doane 

Materials needed:
Scissors
Acetate
Exacto knife
Ruler
Card stock 1/2 sheet folded for card
1/2 sheet stamped with a quilt stamp pattern
Rubber Stamps Quilt frame by Stamps in the mail
Butterflies by Rubbernecker, PSX, and CTMH

Directions:

1. Fold 1/2 sheet in to a regular sized card
2. Take a second 1/2 sheet and stamp in the middle a quilt stamp
3. Using a ruler measure out 1/4 in on all sides of the stamped frame
forming a
box around the edge
4. Again using the ruler measure out a second 1/4 in this line will be
the folded
portion gluing to the face of your card front.
5. Score on this line for easy folding
6. Cut out your frame
7. Cut your acetate same size as your quilt stamp
8. Cut out 3 windows on your quilt frame
9. Glue Acetate onto underside of the frame stamp
10. Score lines and cut into the edge of the frame so they
can be bent down to form a 3-d box
11. Stamp and color your butterflies add to card face
checking window placement so they will be seen
12. Glue down window over top of butterflies
13. Add message and a few butterflies to top of window.
