St Patrick's Day Clover Pin by Wendy Kerr

Need a little Irish spirit on St Patrick's Day? Try this easy pin for a little lucky charm.

Using a Sizzix Die Cutter, cut the following clover shapes: ONE from book board, ONE from double sided tape , and three from shrink plastic.
Peel paper backing off of two-sided tape (O' So Sticky Tape.) Layer onto your book board, sticky side down. Peel off pink plastic top layer.

On a folded piece of paper, pour micro-fine green beads (Fairy Beads) onto sticky side of clover.

Press beads into the tape with your fingers to insure adhesion.

Tap off excess and return extra beads to your bag.

I also like to take a very soft paint brush and brush over the beads to knock off any beads that aren't sticking well.

With a green marker, go over any areas of your clover that aren't covered in beads.

Sand your shrink plastic clover pieces. Color in with different colored Sharpie markers. Stamp with Celtic designs (Yellow Rose Art Stamps) with a Memories (or other permanent inkpad.) Color designs with Sharpies. Using a 1/8th inch hole punch, punch holes in the top of each shrink plastic piece. Heat to shrink. To give a little added depth to this project, don't totally flatten your clovers when they are shrunk down. Leave the petals bent a little.

To beaded clover:

Punch three holes as shown.

Attach claddagh charm to the center with a small amount of E6000 glue. Let dry.

Attach clovers with small pieces of gold wire. CAREFULLY twist to secure.

Cut a piece of double stick tape the same size as your pin back and attach pin back to your book board clover.

And... your done with your extremely easy to do pin.
