Library Pocket Card by Becky Chabot
Stamp the same silhouette image onto 3” x 4-1/4” onto Red Quilt patterned paper by Sweetwater using Sunwashed Red Chalk pad. Orient the paper horizontally and place the image centered. Not all of the image may fit onto the paper. Cut sand cardstock 3-1/2” x 5”, orient vertically and round the top corners. Stamp a partial of the same Hearts In Touch silhouette image using Ranger’s Peeled Paint Distress Ink. Place the patterned paper onto the sage cardstock flush near the bottom and sew with a machine to create a pocket. Use straight stitch and white thread. Place the sand cardstock into the pocket. Staple a small piece of sage eyelash fibers from the top left corner of the patterned paper to the bottom edge about 1” from the edge. Use a permanent marker to color the staple to hide it. Melt Hunter Green, verdigris and gold embossing powders in a melting pot, swirl gently and pour into a small leaf Krafty Mould (Distributed by After Midnight Art Stamps). Let cool and glue the leaf to the front of the card with strong white craft glue. |
