Believe In Your Dreams Viki Banaszak

Take 2 pieces of olive colored card stock 9.75x 6.275, fold in half, and burnish the crease. Use a circle cutter or Coluzzle to cut a circle that is 4.25 inches in diameter. Lay your circle on the card and decide where to place the punch out to turn your spinner. Mark the area lightly with a pencil. Then align your circle punch at about halfway on the card between your marks. See Picture 2

You will want to line up the punch on the piece of cardstock that you have set aside for the inside of the card also.

Find the center of your spinner with a compass and mark the spot.

See Picture 5

Punch the spinner and place the spinner on the front of the card to find the spot where the hole needs to be for your spinner. Punch out this spot making certain that the spinner reaches the area you have made to turn it.

Using a sharp blade and a cutting mat, cut an opening for your words to show through. Your opening should be about 1x1 and angled slightly.

See Picture 7

Using a pencil, place your spinner under your card lining up your center hole, mark out 5 spaces for you to stamp your words in. This way they will land in the right place as the spinner moves.

See Picture 8

You can use a brad in the hole to make it easier to keep the spinner in place as you turn it to mark it.
Stamp out the words you would like to use and look at them through the opening to see how they will look on the spinner. When you are satisfied that your words will fit, you can stamp them onto the spinner inside the previously marked spaces. After your ink has dried, you can erase the pencil marks.

Small phrases will work best such as, “ Believe In Your Dreams”-Oxford Impressions,” Art to Art”- Ma Vinci’s Reliquary, “Expect Miracles ”Appaloosa Art Stamps, ”Warmest Wishes”- Stamping Up, and “Create”- Ma Vinci’s Reliquary.
Use a piece of checkered ribbon next to the edge of the card attached with double stick tape. Stamp Dream by Cats Life Press onto white cardstock and trim closely. Add this directly under the spinner’s hole. Place your spinner inside the card and attach with a yellow brad, backed by black metal floral filigree.
Use double stick tape around the edges of the inside of the card, being careful not to get any in the area of the spinner. Stick your second piece of folded cardstock onto the fold of the open card. Close the card. This should line up both cards so the lining card looks nice and neat.
