Directions:
Stamp pumpkin onto the domino and heat set. This must be very dry to paint
over, so patience is a virtue. Color leaves with Adirondack pen in celery.
Use a light wash of burnt orange to fill in the pumpkin. This might take 2
or three washes to get it to the darkness you like, but it is worth the
drying time for the color achieved.
The StazOn ink bleeds right through the watered down paint. Once you have
the colors you want, let dry and spray with a coat of Krylon Matte Finish.
Cut leg shapes out of cardstock and lightly apply StazOn Orange using the
'Direct-to-Paper method (i.e.: apply the inks directly to the cardstock
using the ink pad to smear on the color).
Stamp Trick-or-Treat stamp with black ink. Dab a small amount of glue on
top of leg and place on the domino. Add another dab of glue and apply
buttons at top of leg and let dry.
Cut a 6" piece of wire and add the desired amount of beads for arms. Fold
around the back of the domino, bringing the arms to the front, and tape in
place on the back.
Stamp the face on white cardstock and blush the cheeks, as well as adding
a gold swipe to the hair. Glue to inside of the bottle cap.
Tape shipping tag in place on the back of the domino, tie fibers for hair,
adding the fan as a crown off to one side. Glue the bottle cap head onto
shipping tag. Use a dark piece of cardstock
fit to size to cover the back of the domino, covering the wire & shipping
tag.
Cut down a popsicle stick to fit from the top of the head to the bottom of
the domino. Glue magnet pieces (or strip) along the popsicle stick and
attach to back of domino with glue or double sided tape. This not only
gives your head support, but makes a nice way to display this little cutie
pie. |
