Materials:
Flat sponge brushes
Glue stick
Stamps by:
PSX mini Southwest stamps
Paper Inspirations (Music notes)
background text by stamp in the hand
Text stamp by Serendipity stamps

3 stamp pads of color of your choice one in light one in med and one
in dark( I used Marvy light yellow, Marvy yellow and Marvy orcra)
yellow card stock 8 1/2 by 5 1/2 folded in half to form card
Black cardstock 5 14/16 by 3 14/16 inches
White glossy 5 by 3  5/8 inches
Scraps of cardstock to use as masks and line guides
Black Marvy ink pad
Heat gun
Stipple Brush

To make the Card:

1. Take  The White glossy cardstock and stamp the main image at an angle using black ink. Heat set ink .
2. Using a long wide piece of scrap cardstock lay it over the main image making sure it goes from card edge to card edge.
3. Using your foam brush and your lightest color brush a line out on to the card face using short strokes.
Hint : Start about 1/2 inch in from edge of scrap and end about 1/2 inch out on card face continue in this brushing motion until you have gone the whole length of the line from card edge to card edge.
4. Turn card around and repeat step 3 Now you have the first 2 lines of your grid one on each side of you main image and about 1/2 in out away from it.
5. Turn card to do side 3 following step 3 again.
6. Turn card around to do side 4 again following step 3
7. Do steps 3 to 6 using the medium color being sure to brush over the top of the light ink and letting some of it still show through
8. Repeat steps 3 through 6 with the dark ink again making sure you let some of the medium and light ink show through.
9. Using a Stipple brush and a bouncing motion cover the white areas inside the lines of the grid and in your main image. be sure to use all 3 shades of color.
10. Using scrap pieces of paper or cardstock, mask off one of your grids

Hint: The only thing you want to be able to see is the grid in which you are working. the rest of the card face must be covered. until you are ready to stamp into that area. Heat set each time you ink and image before moving on to the next grid.

11. Stamp a background stamp covering the grid area you are working in and then stamp  over the top of that background stamp with a design stamp All in the same black ink.
12. Repeat step 11 until all grids are filled
13. Heat set
14. Using glue stick glue glossy cardstock onto black cardstock
15. Using glue stick glue Black to yellow card face
