Direct to Stamps Water coloring by Wendy Kerr

Items Needed:
Non-detailed Floral or other stamp
Watercolor cakes or liquid
Thin paintbrush
Misting spray bottle
Water Cardstock
White Cardstock

Directions: Apply a little water onto your watercolor cakes, to your desired colors.

Put a LITTLE paint onto your paintbrush and paint directly onto the rubber side of your stamp. If your get little paint droplets onto your stamp - you are using too much paint. If this is the case, take a tissue and soak up the extra paint. You can blend colors at this point by adding different shades of the same color to your stamp.

Mist your stamp with a water misting bottle (one or two sprays) and then stamp!

Coloring: With a slightly damp paintbrush, run your brush over the stamped watercolor lines to pick up color. "PULL" that color around your image to color.
