Stamping On Glass Plates by Wendy Kerr

Items Needed:
Clear Glass Plates (look at garage sales, thrift stores or craft stores (I purchased these at Hobby Lobby, $1.99 for the large one and $0.99 for the smaller ones.)
Black Crafter's Inkpad
Fairy (Yellow Rose Art Stamps)
Lavender Stamp (PSX)
Future Floor Polish/Finish
Pearl Ex (I used gold and blue)
Perm Enamel (or another sealer)

How To:
Clean your plates and make sure they are completely dry.

On back side of plate:
Put future floor polish on the back center of the plate.
I added gold and blue Pearl Ex and swirled it.
Put a few pieces of white tissue paper onto that and let dry.
Stamp the lavender stamp (PSX) on the back side of the plate and heat set.
Sponge a mixture of Future and blue pearl ex sparingly over the plate.
After it dries, sponge on SHEER gold metallic paint.

Front side of plate:
Stamped Shadow Fairy (this is hand carved, but will be a Yellow Rose Art Stamp in a month or so) and cut out. Decoupage to the front center of plate.
Paint wings with Sheer gold paint. Let dry.

One dry cover front AND back with Perm Enamel. Sponge on to give the "wavy" effect. The perm enamel will protect it from just about everything!
