Pill Box by Lori Roberts

TIN FROM http://www.zimprints.com/
White Gesso
Jacquard's textile paint brown #120
Liquitex gloss gel medium
Assorted buttons, Beads, Hole-less beads and Charms
Decorative tissue paper
Trim
Adirondack ink butterscotch
typewriter key stickers.

Directions:
First take tin apart at the hinge for painting. Using tin from Zim Prints apply 2 coats of gesso and dry thoroughly between coats. Then paint with brown paint using a piece of foam. I applied about 3 coats and the paint made it look like leather using the piece of foam.

Attach decorative tissue to inside of tin using the gel medium. Add trim which was aged with butterscotch ink to inside of tin with gel medium. Attach photo to small frame and coat with gel medium and then attach to inside of tin with gel medium. "Glue" beads, buttons, charm and hole-less beads as shown in sample with gel medium. Attach initial stickers and coat entire inside of tin with gel medium.
