Bass Book by Marian aka "Teapot"

Make a keepsake for your favorite fishermen. A Dollar Store Domino Box has been transformed into a functional Fish Story Journal Box with little tags to commemorate the date, place and size of fish!

SUPPLIES:
Stamps: "Fish Story" and "Lazy Days", (TAC-The Angel Company TM) Sliding wooden Domino Box; 4 small Dominoes; 2 small rubber fish; Key chain; Delta Dimensional Paint (Cashmere), Acrylic Paints (Nutmeg, Wedgwood Green); Polymer Clay; Paint Comb; Walnut Inks; Clear Versamark; Black Dye Ink; Moss Green & Cream cardstock; Mini File Folder; Sticker Paper; Adhesive

DIRECTIONS:

BOX:
Stamp "BASS" into clay, paint and cook. Set Aside.
Paint both rubber fish with Wedgwood Green. Let dry and then highlight with Nutmeg. Set aside. Paint 4 dominoes with Wedgwood Green. Set aside. Paint bottom of box with Nutmeg. Let dry. Punch hole in sliding top for the keychain to slip through. Cover box with Cashmere Dimensional Paint. While wet, run comb through paint in two different directions. On Box top, apply extra Cashmere Dimensional Paint to cover the words "Domino", making this area to appear as grass. Once Cashmere is dry, wash the box with Wedgwood Green and, once Green is dry, highlight with Nutmeg to give the box an "aged" look. Glue the 4 dominoes lengthwise on box bottom for the legs. When project is completely finished, glue the clay piece of box top. Stamp "Fish Story" in black dye ink on green stock.

JOURNAL PAGES: Cut a piece of Moss Green cardstock 2.5 inches wide X 16
inches long. (If necessary, glue two cut pieces together). Match the
inside box height to the depth of the depth of the accordion fold and then score and fold. Stamp image with Clear Versamark on both sides of Journal Pages. Glue to bottom of box and fold down.

TAG: Cut two pieces of Moss Green cardstock. 1) 3.75 inch X 2.25 and 2) 3.25 inch X 2 inch. Cut one piece of Cream cardstock 3.5 inch X 1.75 inch. Distress with Walnut Inks and assemble. Punch hole for key chain. Distress Mini File Folder with Walnut Ink, stamp saying and attach to Tag. On white sticker paper, type or write the words: "Date", "Location", "Weight", "Length". Distress with Walnut Inks and cut to fit in Mini File Folder. (These can filled in and then attached to Journal pages within the box)
