Iris Folded Vase Cheryl Rotnem

1. Take a template and draw image and then cut out. I used white cardstock.

2. Cut strips of at least 3" by 1" in this case we need 4 different colors/patterns, five of each color/pattern. (See paper strips below.)

3. Put your pattern on top of front of card, design facing the back. Start to layer in appropriate numbers your colors. Alternating the colors as you go and gluing each one.

4. After you've finishes w/all the strips then trim off excess. Now you are ready to fill in the "Iris” I took a large flower eyelets, attached to a piece of scrap cardstock and then glue to back of your finished vase.

5. Stipple the other edges of the white cardstock, using the colors in the vase. Attach to your folded cardstock on front. I used a blue cardstock w/c is in the vase.
