Making Your Favorite Images and Photos into Stamps by Karen Bourke Using Imagepac Daylight System You can create your own artwork by drawing it, photocopying it or scanning it. If you have a favourite photograph or copyright free image you can easily turn it into a stamp with the Imagepac Daylight System (marberryhouse@tiscali.co.uk). Everything you need to create approximately 25 stamps is contained within the Imagepac aluminium case. Print out your artwork on your inkjet or laser printer using imageblack negative film. Place
your artwork and the Imagepac Daylight Sachet into the easy to use clamp
provided in the kit
(See Picture 1)
Shine a
normal 60w adjustable light onto the clamp until the controller beeps.
This hardens the sachet.
(See Picture 2)
Turn the clamp over and repeat the process. When
the beeper sounds again turn off the light and cut the sachet and brush it
using washing up liquid and hot water.
(See Picture 3)
Put the
sachet into a container with the detack salts and 2cm of cold water and
place back under the light for ten minutes or leave on a window sill for
20 minutes. This will harden the stamp.
(See Picture 4)
Peel
the plastic off the back of the stamp, mount it onto an acrylic block and
stamp your new artwork.
