Polished Acetate by Karen Bourke

All images and text used in making these cards have been taken from various ISC plates (www.innovativestampcreations.com).

1. Take a piece of acetate 5" square and spray with rubbing alcohol. (See Picture 1)


2. Drip colours of alcohol ink onto the acetate. (See Picture 2)


3. Spray felt applicator with rubbing alcohol and pounce on the acetate to move/blend the colours. (See Picture 3)


4. Spray the acetate with more rubbing alcohol. (See Picture 4)


5. Add more alcohol ink until you are happy with the colours. (See Picture 5)


6. Take a piece of white card 2-1/2" x 4-1/2" and stamp and colour your main image. Mat onto two matching pieces of cardstock. (See Picture 6)


7. Take a piece of white card measuring 7" x 5" and score at the 5" mark. (See Picture 7)


8. Stamp images/text inside the card making sure you will not be able to see this when the card is folded. (See Picture 8)


9. Mount this card onto co-ordinating colours (as at point 6) of cardstock. (See Picture 9)


10. Place adhesive to the left hand side of the main white card and affix the acetate (your white card will be completely covered). (See Picture 10)


11. Add the main image to the left hand side of the acetate. (See Picture 11)


12. Complete your card by punching two holes on the right hand side edge of the acetate and tying a piece of organza ribbon through. (See main picture)
