Paris Transparency Card by Steph Schirmer

Transparencies are so much fun to play with and can either be bought or printed off on your personal computer. The thing to remember is you need to buy transparencies that are compatible with your computer. For example, I buy ones for an inkjet printer, which I think the majority of us have. You can use anything to make transparencies from old pictures, letters and even your own artwork. They make a project even more customized to the person you are making it for.

Supplies:
Cardstock
Transparencies (Artchixstudios)
Square punch
Distress inks (tea dye, tattered rose, shabby shutters and black soot)
Stamps (Stamper’s Anonymous, Stampabilities, Stamp a Rosa, Hero Arts)
Embellishments (label, 7 gypsies black wax & seal Parisian)

Supplies you start with white cardstock, transparencies and a square punch. . One thing to remember, after you choose your transparency, DO NOT trim too closely to the picture, you need overhang to stick to the paper.

Take your distressed inks and do direct to paper onto the cardstock. Then using the square punch out two squares for the transparencies. (See Picture 1)

Then insert your transparencies into the punched out squares and add another piece of white cardstock to the back and then trim to the size you want. (See Picture 2)

Then add stamping, fiber, label and wax seal to card front. Mount it to a colored cardstock. (See Picture 3)
