MicroBead Stamping by Annette Lanker
Technique learned from Suzanne Glazier of PennyWiseArts

Supplies:

Cardstocks
O’So Sticky Red Liner Tape (Penny Wise Arts)
Two Colors of Microbeads (Penny Wise Arts)
Old brayer
Solid or mostly solid image rubberstamp

Cut a piece of light colored cardstock and a piece of O’So Sticky Tape a little larger than your rubber stamp. Peel off one side of the liner and carefully center it on the front of the cardstock - sticky side down. Now, remove the top liner from the O’So Sticky Tape but don't throw it out. (See Picture 1)

Next, ink your stamp with a VersaMark pad (or embossing ink) and then tap the stamp several times into your first color of microbeads.
(See Picture 2)
Carefully stamp the beads onto the center of the exposed O’So Sticky Tape. Brush away any beads left on your stamp with a soft brush. (See Picture 3)

Replace the liner over the stamped beads and tape. Use an old hard rubber brayer or the palm of your hand to firmly press (burnish) the beads into the tape. (See Picture 4)

Remove the liner again and place your cardstock piece stamped side down into second color of microbeads and press firmly from behind. You many need to lift and repeat a few times for maximum coverage. The second color of beads will also cover the previously stamped ones, so you will need to gently brush these beads from the top of the first beaded areas to expose the image again. (See Picture 5)

Now burnish the beads firmly into the O’So Sticky Tape with your brayer. If the room is cool, you can gently warm the tape with your heat gun to make the tape softer. Then brayer the beads firmly down into the tape.

Layer your beaded piece onto cardstock.
