1 piece of cardstock cut 3-1/2” x 10” 6 – 10 sheets of text weight paper for the note sheets cut 3-3/4” x 4” Lay your piece of cardstock in front of you, decorated side facing up, so that the 10” length is going left to right. At one 3 ¾” end (it doesn’t matter which one) lay your sheets of paper (3-3/4” edge) flush with the edge of cardstock. Center the sheets between the top and bottom of the long edges and staple the paper in place using 2 stapes 1/4” from the edge. Turn your matchbook over and score a line across the 3-1/2” width, 1/2” away from the staples. Fold your cardstock towards the staples on that score line. Turn your matchbook over again, letting the sheets of paper extend away from the cardstock. Score another line on your cardstock a little away from the edge of the sheets of paper. Fold along this score toward the paper. Turn over your matchbook again and score another line just away from the edge of the paper. Now fold your cardstock on that score line toward the paper and tuck under the little flap. If your flap is too short to tuck under, your score lines are too far apart and you will need to start over again. If your flap is too long and buckles when you tuck under the flap, you can just trim off a little at a time until it lays flat. |
