Susan Chong, Team Member

 

My name is Susan Chong.  I have been stamping for about 2 years and dabbling in altered art for about 1 year. One of my creative passions is learning new stamping techniques.  I enjoy experimenting with new techniques and working out how to use them in stamping and all forms of altered art!  Needless to say ......moss does NOT grow under my stamps!   J  Because of this, I don't ever see myself settling into a particular stamping style.  This is the only area of my life where I consider myself......flexible.

I have also become quite an avid collector of embellishments and any and all stamping supplies!  I really enjoy seeking out new (and sometimes unusual) items to use for embellishments---netting, cereal box liners, silk flowers, and sea glass some of my favorites!   And, unfortunately for my pocketbook, I seem to “need” to purchase some new supply for every new technique I try!! J  I also enjoy a casual trip to the hardware and office supply stores…...you never know what goodies you will find there! The online stamping community is incredibly supportive and enabling!!!  I am truly inspired and amazed every day by the awesome talent that surrounds us all!
